We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to ensure that every student in Hawaiʻi has the opportunity to learn, play and create music in school.
OUR MISSION
LŌKAHI is a Hawaiian word that means unity, harmony, and oneness. We have a collective vision to give all students, no matter their circumstances, access to high-quality music education.
WHAT WE DO
We build technology-enabled, interdisciplinary, culturally-relevant music programs. Our approach centers on ‘kumu’ (educators) and equips them with training, a community of practice and teaching resources that amplify their impact.
music for all
We had an incredible day for our 2nd annual Play Along event at McKinley HS Auditorium. Students performed alongside artists, parents and the community to make music together. Thank you to all the staff, students and volunteers for making this event so special.
